What we build
- Customer-facing apps: ordering, booking, loyalty, fee payment, results and support for retailers, clinics, coaching classes, hotels and service businesses.
- Field and operations apps: attendance, delivery, collections, inspections and surveys for staff who work outside the office, with offline capture and later sync.
- Marketplace and on-demand apps: two-sided apps with a customer side, a partner side and an admin panel.
- Companion apps for hardware: apps that talk to devices over Bluetooth or the internet, built with our IoT and hardware integration team.
- Backend and admin: the API, database, push notifications, payments and the web admin panel that runs the app. This is usually half the work and is often missing from cheaper quotes.
Native or cross-platform?
Cross-platform (React Native or Flutter) means one team, one codebase and both stores from a single build. It suits most business apps: forms, lists, payments, chat, maps, notifications. We choose it by default.
Native (Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android) makes sense when the app depends on heavy camera or video processing, Bluetooth peripherals with awkward drivers, background services or platform features the cross-platform layers expose late. It costs more because there are two codebases to maintain. We will tell you which applies to your app and why.
Built for Indian users
- Low-end Android: we test on ₹7,000 to ₹10,000 phones with 2 to 3 GB of RAM, not only on flagships. App size, memory and start-up time are budgeted.
- Patchy connectivity: apps that must work in the field are built offline-first, storing data locally and syncing when a connection returns.
- Language: Marathi and Hindi interfaces are built in from the first screen, not bolted on afterwards.
- Payments: UPI intent flows and gateways such as Razorpay, PhonePe and Paytm, with the reconciliation your accountant needs.
- WhatsApp: order confirmations, OTPs and reminders through the WhatsApp Business API where users expect them.
How a project runs
Mobile projects follow our eight-step process. Requirements and Planning decide native versus cross-platform and what the backend must do. Design produces clickable prototypes you can hold on a phone before development starts. Development runs in sprints with test builds pushed to your phone through TestFlight and Google Play internal testing.
Testing covers real devices, slow networks and interrupted flows. Deployment includes store listings, screenshots, privacy policies and the review back-and-forth with Apple and Google. Training covers the admin panel. Support covers OS updates, store policy changes and new features.
Developer accounts (Apple at USD 99 a year, Google at a one-off USD 25) are created in your name so you own the listings.
What it costs
As a rough guide for apps built in India:
| App | Indicative range | Typical timeline |
|---|---|---|
| Single-purpose app with basic backend | ₹3 to 6 lakh | 2 to 3 months |
| Business app with payments, admin panel and notifications | ₹6 to 15 lakh | 3 to 6 months |
| Marketplace or on-demand app with two user types | ₹10 lakh upward | 4 to 8 months |
The real figure depends on scope: number of screens, user types, integrations, whether it must work offline, and whether you need iOS, Android or both. Ongoing costs (hosting, push, SMS, maps API, store fees) run separately and we estimate them before you commit. A fuller breakdown is in Mobile app development cost in India.
Why a company in Gondia and Nagpur
For clients in Vidarbha we can do requirements and user testing in person: sitting with the delivery staff or the counter clerk who will use the app teaches more than any document. We work Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 7 pm IST.
Clients elsewhere get the same sprint cadence and test builds remotely. The backend for every app we ship is built on the NestJS, PostgreSQL and React stack that runs our own product, RightSutra, so the admin panels and APIs behind your app are patterns we maintain daily.
What to ask an app developer before you sign
- Does the quote include the backend and admin panel, or only the app?
- Who owns the source code, the store accounts and the signing keys?
- How will the app behave on a low-end Android phone with no signal?
- What is the plan for the first OS update after launch?
- Is there a test build you can install during development, or do you see the app at the end?
Our guide to choosing a software development company in Nagpur goes through these in more depth.

- Learning platform for 10,000+ students. An educational institution needed a learning system that would scale past ten thousand students. We built an LMS with live video classes, assignment management and progress tracking on Next.js, MongoDB, WebRTC, AWS S3 and Socket.io. The backend patterns (real-time channels, media storage, per-student progress) are the same ones a mobile learning app needs.
- Retail point of sale. A local retail chain needed billing, inventory and live sales numbers in one system. We built a POS with inventory tracking, sales analytics and card payments on React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis and the Stripe API.

Describe the app in a few lines: who uses it, what they do in it, and whether it needs to work offline. We will reply with questions, then a scope, a stack recommendation and a price. Contact us, call +91 82630 93672 or write to info@sailright.tech.
