How much does custom software development cost in India?
As a rough guide: a business website from about ₹40,000 to ₹1.5 lakh; a custom web application from about ₹2 lakh to ₹10 lakh; a mobile app with backend from about ₹3 lakh to ₹15 lakh; an MSME ERP from about ₹3 lakh to ₹12 lakh. The real figure depends on scope, integrations and data migration, so we estimate after a requirements conversation.
How long does a project take?
A website usually takes two to six weeks; a custom web or mobile application two to five months; a multi-module ERP three to eight months, rolled out in phases. We agree milestones in the planning step and show working software every couple of weeks.
Do you charge a fixed price or by time?
Both, depending on the work. Well-defined projects are quoted at a fixed price against a written scope; evolving products run on time and materials with monthly reporting. Payments are tied to milestones.
Who owns the code and data?
You do. On final payment the source code, designs and data for custom work belong to the client. Our own products, RightSutra and RightYantra, are licensed rather than sold.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. We sign a non-disclosure agreement before detailed discussions whenever a client asks.
Can you take over software another vendor built?
Usually, yes. We start with a code and infrastructure review, list the risks, and propose either a stabilisation plan or a phased rewrite. See our article on modernising legacy systems.

What is your development process?
Eight steps on every project: requirements, planning, design, development, testing, deployment, training and support. You see working software throughout and your team is trained before handover.
Do you provide hosting and maintenance?
Yes. We set up hosting (typically AWS or a comparable Indian-region provider), domains, SSL and backups, and offer ongoing maintenance and support plans after launch.
Do you meet clients in person?
Yes, across Gondia, Bhandara, Balaghat and Nagpur. Clients elsewhere work with us remotely on Indian working hours, with calls and screen-shared demos.
Which technologies do you use?
React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js and NestJS, Python, React Native and Flutter, PostgreSQL and MongoDB, Redis, AWS, Docker, WebSocket and WebRTC, and, for hardware work, Arduino and ESP32-class boards with LoRaWAN or 4G. We choose the stack in the planning step to fit the job.
